About the Opportunity

Octopus Labour Solutions is currently seeking an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Loader on behalf of our client, a leading transport and logistics company.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly experienced warehouse professional who is confident operating a forklift, loading and unloading freight, and working in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

The successful candidate will be employed directly by our client and will become part of their established warehouse operations team.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely and efficiently load and unload freight using a forklift

- Assist with general warehouse and freight handling duties

- Check inbound freight to ensure all goods have been received correctly

- Ensure freight is handled accurately and efficiently

- Check that incoming freight has the correct paperwork

- Follow all workplace health and safety requirements

- Comply with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and relevant legislative requirements

- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet daily operational requirements

- Maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity in a fast-paced environment





About You

We are looking for someone who has:

- A valid forklift licence (LF)

- Strong and proven forklift operating experience

- Previous warehouse, freight or transport industry experience

- Experience loading and unloading freight
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- A positive, can-do attitude

- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Strong time management and organizational skills
- The ability to multitask and work under pressure
- A proactive approach and willingness to get the job done
