Experienced Mobile Phone & Electronics Repair Technician

Sydney Mobile Phone Repairs is looking for an experienced, skilled and productive repair technician to join our busy workshop in Kingsgrove.

We have a strong and consistent workload with plenty of repairs available. We are looking for someone who already knows what they are doing and can become a productive member of our team from day one.

This is NOT an entry-level or trainee position.

WHAT YOU'LL BE REPAIRING

- iPhone and Samsung smartphones
- iPads and other tablets
- Screens, batteries, cameras and other components
- Charging ports and charging connectors
- iPad charging and internal flex cables
- PlayStation, Xbox and other gaming consoles
- HDMI ports and related console repairs
- Basic soldering repairs
- General fault diagnosis, testing and troubleshooting

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Proven professional mobile/electronics repair experience
- Good basic soldering skills
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Confident replacing charging ports and connectors
- Confident working with iPad flex cables and internal components
- Experience repairing phones and tablets
- Gaming console repair experience is highly regarded
- Fast, accurate and organised workmanship
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Reliable and punctual
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers face-to-face and over the phone
- Able to clearly explain faults,



repairs and repair options
- Able to fill in at the front counter when another team member is away
- Able to book in repairs and assist customers when required
- Must have legal working rights in Australia

PRODUCTIVITY & QUALITY

We are a busy repair centre with a consistent volume of work.

An experienced technician should be comfortable working towards approximately 15+ completed jobs per day, depending on the type and complexity of repairs.

Quality is just as key as speed. Repairs must be completed correctly and professionally with a low comeback rate.

TEAM PERFORMANCE BONUSES

We believe the whole team should benefit when the workshop performs well.

When the team reaches agreed repair targets and quality standards, team members receive performance bonuses.

The better the team performs, the more everyone benefits.
