About the Role

We are seeking a Factory Hand to join our team at our Laverton North facility, working on the production of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS). This role starts as a 6-month casual position with a transparent pathway to full-time employment for the right person. As a Factory Hand, you will be integral to our production line, particularly around panel saw operation, supporting the assembly and processing of our products to the highest standards.

Your work will directly contribute to meeting our production targets and maintaining the quality that our customers expect from PanelTech Systems.

What You'll Be Doing

- Operating a panel saw, panel Machine, CNC machines other assembly line equipment in accordance with safety procedures and quality standards

- Performing repetitive assembly tasks with precision and consistency to meet production quotas

- Inspecting products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality specifications

- Packaging and labelling finished products for dispatch

- Maintaining a clean and organized work area, adhering to health and safety regulations

- Reporting equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors promptly





- Following standard operating procedures and safety protocols at all times

- Supporting other team members to ensure smooth production operations

- Performing basic maintenance tasks and equipment checks as directed

What We're Looking For

- Panel saw experience

- CNC experience

- Background working in a cabinet making or joinery factory workplace

- Experience with power tools and hand tools

- Current forklift license (LF) – preferred but not essential

- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and accuracy

- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift materials weighing up to 15-20 kilograms

- Strong commitment to health and safety practices and compliance with workplace regulations

- Reliable and punctual attendance

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Willingness to follow instructions and adapt to changing production requirements

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for understanding production specifications and documentation

- Ability to read and understand plans
