Farm Hand - Irrigation & Tractor (Chemcert Required) - Armidale, NSW

We are seeking a reliable Farm Hand to join an operation in Armidale, NSW, within the agriculture industry. This is a hands-on role where you will support a range of farm and nursery activities, including mowing, tractor operation, irrigation maintenance, and general labouring. You'll work both independently and as part of a team to ensure daily operations run efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and quality.

Key Responsibilities

This role supports day-to-day farm operations and general maintenance tasks across the site.

- Operate tractors and assist with mowing and spraying activities
- Perform irrigation maintenance and weed control
- Assist with general labouring and farm duties
- Support shed and nursery operations including palletising and stock movement
- Maintain clean, organised work areas and follow biosecurity protocols
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures




- Competitive pay rate of $33.55 per hour + penalty rates
- Ongoing employment with approximately 38 hours per week

Your Skills & Experience To be successful in this role, you will be reliable, physically capable, and able to work across a variety of tasks.

- Previous farm or agricultural experience preferred
- Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks including lifting (up to 15kg)
- Physically fit and capable of labour-intensive work
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or in a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Good communication skills and focus on safe work practic
