An opportunity exists for a Meat Category Specialist at our foodservice branch located in Truganina.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this position is responsible for the growth of sales to new and existing customers within the region and the development of long‑term business relationships.

Duties:

- Maintain and grow the customer base whilst focusing on new business growth
- Achieve sales KPI’s and meet quarterly targets
- Develop current business opportunities to increase sales
- Create and maintain customer pricing and margins
- Identify, develop and manage new areas of growth
- Work co-operatively and competitively within a busy sales team environment

Key Skills and Experience:

- Exceptional negotiation and customer service skills
- Proven sales experience in managing meat customer accounts and growing new business
- Ability to communicate effectively with a broad customer base
- Self‑driven with the ability to work autonomously and with a team
- Aptitude for working with computers,



including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Previous experience working within the meat industry essential
