About Us

The Patio Factory is a Perth-based patio manufacturing and installation business located in Welshpool. We design, manufacture, deliver and install steel patios, carports, verandahs and outdoor structures for homes across Perth and surrounding areas.

We are a practical, hands‑on business with in‑house manufacturing, installation crews, design, engineering, scheduling and customer support teams all working together to deliver quality outdoor structures.

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and capable Patio Installer / Patio Builder to join our installation team.

Ideally, you will already have experience installing patios, carports, verandahs, pergolas or similar steel outdoor structures. However, we will also consider applicants from relevant trade backgrounds such as roof plumbing, carpentry, shed installation, steel structures or general construction, provided you have strong practical skills and the right attitude to learn.

This is a hands‑on role installing custom patios and carports across Perth. You will work from drawings and job details, install frames and roofing components, and complete each project to a neat, safe and professional standard.

Key Duties

- Install patios, carports, verandahs and similar outdoor structures.
- Read and follow installation drawings and job details.
- Install posts, beams, roofing sheets, gutters, flashings and downpipes.
- Work with steel frames, insulated roofing, polycarbonate and standard patio materials where required.
- Check materials on site and report any missing, damaged or incorrect items.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Communicate professionally with customers,



office staff and other installers.
- Report site issues, access problems, safety concerns or unexpected conditions.
- Follow safe work procedures and use required PPE.

What We’re Looking For

- Patio installation experience preferred.
- Relevant trade experience also considered, such as roof plumbing, carpentry, steel structures, shed installation or general construction.
- Ability to read plans or follow job drawings.
- Good practical problem‑solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking attitude.
- Good understanding of site safety.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Construction White Card.

Highly Regarded

- Working at Heights ticket.
- Roof plumbing or carpentry background.
- Experience with gutters, flashings, roofing sheets or insulated panels.
- Own tools and reliable transport.
- Ability to lead or work within a small installation crew.
