About the Role In this role, you will take ownership of branch financials across several regions, ensuring compliance with AASB standards, managing monthly P&Ls;, and providing critical insight to support business growth. You will collaborate closely with Regional Managers and Project Teams to analyse performance, forecast budgets, and deliver strategic financial reporting that impacts key business decisions.
Responsibilities Analyse financial data and link it to business strategies to support growth plans
Manage branch financials and regional P&Ls;, including journals and consolidation reporting
Handle project accounting for large-scale projects, working closely with Project Managers
Partner with Regional Managers to interpret monthly results and margin analysis
Lead initiatives to improve operational, commercial, and financial performance
Develop and present full-year forecasts and budgets, highlighting risks and opportunities
Drive efficiencies and cost savings by challenging current processes
Support year-end and internal audits
Build and deliver Power BI reports to enhance decision-making
Reconcile balance sheets and communicate cost drivers to non-finance teams Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in accounting
CA/CPA qualified
3-5+ years’ experience in a similar financial/accounting role Required Skills Advanced Excel skills: Power BI experience is a plus
Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proven relationship management and customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines with high responsiveness
Self-motivated with a strong desire for continuous learning and improvement
