Senior Financial Accountant / Finance Manager (Fixed Term)

Location: Bendigo, VIC (On-site)

Work Type: Fixed-Term Contract (4-6 Months)

Pay Rate: $65-$75/hour + super, dependent on experience

The Role

- Manage month-end close, journals, accruals and prepayments

- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations

- Support revenue recognition and compliance requirements

- Review payroll accounting and reconciliations

- Manage employee entitlement provisions, including annual and long service leave

- Maintain the integrity of financial reporting and financial controls

What You Will Bring

- Significant experience in financial accounting and month-end reporting

- Solid reconciliation,



reporting and general ledger management skills

- Experience with accruals, prepayments, journals and balance sheet reconciliations

- Ability to work independently and quickly establish priorities

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability

Highly Regarded

- CPA or CA qualification

- Experience in community services, healthcare, aged care, not-for-profit or government-funded environments

- Exposure to revenue recognition and funding compliance requirements
