The Role A great career opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant to join our national Finance team in the Melbourne office. In this role you will be supporting the Finance Manager with key finance deliverables on a monthly basis and assisting the Finance Team providing back up and support to all areas. The list below outlines some major accountabilities and deliverables: Produce accurate monthly management reports on a timely basis

Assist with Firm Leasing

Complete balance sheet reconciliations

Bank covenant reporting

Complete monthly BAS and annual FBT return

Quarterly ABS reporting

Payment Times reporting

Ad-hoc reporting for management & partners

Assist in the month end process

Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process

Gain an understanding of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Trust Accounting in order to provide back up and assistance where required Who We Are Looking For The successful applicant will be CA or CPA accredited or be working towards it,



with a minimum of two years experience working in an accounting role.

Key competencies: Excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy of work, produced in a timely manner Good understanding of accounting principles and their application

Ability to complete BAS returns and an understanding of FBT principles

Demonstrates a good knowledge of systems and processes internally and externally

Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Prioritise competing tasks sensibly after discussion with the relevant stakeholders

Plans and organises work effectively and efficiently

Builds effective working relationships

Commits to working towards team success
