We’re looking for a Financial Controller to join our Business Team and take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, compliance and controls, as well as tax and audit readiness. Reporting to the VP Strategy & Operations, this will be the most senior finance role in the business. You will have Board exposure. You will have the prospect to build a team. We're looking for an A-player who can raise the bar for what 'good' looks like.

This role goes beyond compliance and budgets.



It’s about building confidence with the leadership team and Board in Nexl’s finances, controls, and strategic direction. Finance is a core driver of the business, not just a back-office function. We’re looking for someone with an ownership mentality who has scaled a finance function before from Series A and beyond. The role is hybrid with the expectation of 2-3 days in office.

You’re a hands-on Financial Controller who lives and breathes the detail and can take ownership of the finance function. You’ll be CA/CPA qualified with 5+ years experience, ideally in high growth or software environments. The ideal candidate has been a Financial Controller before and has taken a business to scale and wants to do it again.
