Role Description The Financial Research Analyst will conduct in-depth financial research to support strategic and operational decisions at Lab Plastics. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering and analyzing financial and market data, building and maintaining financial models, and preparing clear reports and presentations for leadership. The role involves monitoring industry trends, assessing the financial implications of new projects and international expansion, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to interpret data and recommend actions.
This is a part-time remote role, offering flexibility while requiring consistent communication and timely delivery of high-quality analytical work.
Qualifications
Strong Financial Research and Finance skills to evaluate company performance, markets, and investment opportunities.
Advanced Analytical Skills and experience with Financial Modeling to interpret data, build scenarios,
and generate insights.
Clear and professional Communication skills to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Proficiency with spreadsheets and financial analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Google Sheets; familiarity with BI tools is a plus).
Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field; skilled certifications are an advantage.
Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
Interest in manufacturing, materials science, or chemicals sectors; prior experience in industrial or B2B environments is beneficial.
Attention to detail, strong problem-solving mindset, and commitment to ethical, data-driven decision-making.
