Dowerin is seeking three full time Flower Planter/Pickers to work with our client, Five Ways Flowers Pty Ltd, at their flower farm facility located at 1445 North Road, Devon Meadows, VIC 3977. The positions are expected to commence in October and will be offered for a period of approximately nine months, with a minimum of 38 hours per week. As a Flower Planter/Picker, you will assist with the planting, cultivation, harvesting, and packaging of flower crops, as well as other general farm duties as required.

Working hours are generally Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:00 pm. However, start and finish times, as well as days of work, may vary depending on weather conditions and operational requirements.

Key duties and responsibilities • Harvesting and picking of flowers

- Planting of flower bulbs and crops
- Pruning of flowers
- Removing flower buds as required during growing cycle
- Spray, wood, fertilize and water plants and shrubs • Packaging of harvested flowers for supply and distribution
- Operation and basic maintenance of farm tools and machinery
- Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements
- Reporting of crop conditions,



equipment faults or safety concerns to the Farm Manager
- Assisting with general farm maintenance tasks as directed Skills and Experience Essential:
- Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions • Capacity to work efficiently and accurately with attention to quality • Ability to follow oral and written instructions • Reliable, punctual and committed to completing assigned tasks • Ability to work effectively as part of a small team Desirable
- At least three months experience in horticulture, agriculture or related outdoor industry • Familiarity with basic farm machinery and equipment
- Basic understanding of farm safety practices Training and upskilling opportunities will be provided to support ongoing development and growth within the role.

Pay Base pay is $26.44 per hour (Level 2, Full time Employee under the Horticulture Award MA000028), with additional earnings available through applicable piece rates.
