Key Information

As a Food Production Worker, you will play an essential role in our kitchen and manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for handling raw ingredients, operating food processing equipment, filling and supporting our production line, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Clean presentation and cleanliness to an absolute must.

This is a casual role that will start at 2 shifts per week. Each shift is expected to be 8-12 hours. There will be an opportunity to increase shifts beyond this.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform basic food preparation tasks, following explicit recipe instructions
- Operate and monitor basic kitchen machinery and processing equipment safely
- Maintain and thoroughly clean and sanitise kitchen tools, equipment, surfaces, and production areas in compliance with food safety regulations.
- Adhering to HACCP quality standards
- Operate and monitor production line equipment safely and efficiently
- Conduct pre-start checks and report faults or hazards to supervisors
- Maintain product quality by following SOPs and GMP guidelines
- Complete batch records, production logs, and waste records accurately




- Perform basic equipment cleaning and changeover tasks
- Support quality checks and hold product that doesn't meet specification
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets
- Comply with all WHS, food safety, and hygiene requirements

Requirements & Qualifications

- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen or food processing facility is preferred but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of basic food safety, hygiene regulations, and sanitation practices.
- Ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy items (up to 25kg) for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to take accurate records
- Highly reliable, good communication skills and a positive work ethic.
