Isabella Able Support Services
Melbourne
Ever wanted to be the OT who builds something from the ground up, not just walk in someone else's shoes?
We're looking for our founding Occupational Therapist to join the Isabella Able family! If you're passionate about building genuine relationships with participants, celebrating the little wins (and the big ones!), and want the chance to help shape something from the ground up, this could be the perfect role for you.
This is a role where your ideas are valued, your work makes a real difference, and no two days are the same. You won't be starting from zero, there's already a waitlist and a supportive team ready to go. What's missing is you, and your vision for how OT services should run.
We'd love to meet you.
Why Join Isabella Able?
- Hit the ground running with an established participant waitlist
- Genuine input into policies, templates, and how the OT services are set up long-term
- Join an established NDIS provider supporting participants across Melbourne and Geelong
- Influence how Occupational Therapy services are developed from day one
- Work alongside experienced disability support professionals who know their participants well
- Flexible hours and autonomy over your schedule - start with a small caseload that fits around your current commitments, with the flexibility to grow your hours as participant demand and your availability increase.
Plus you'll receive:
Support & Resources
- Dedicated administration support
- Laptop and phone provided
- Paid supervision or mentoring
- Report writing and admin time built into your workload
- Paid professional development time
Flexibility
- Flexible start and finish times
- Option to work school hours
- Manageable caseload
Culture
- No unrealistic billable targets
- Values-driven team where participants always come first
What you’ll be doing:
- Occupational Therapy assessments and functional capacity assessments
- Developing and implementing evidence-based intervention plans
- Prescribing assistive technology and equipment recommendations
- Assessing and recommending home modifications
- Supporting participants to achieve their goals and maximise independence
- Clinical reports and documentation
- Collaborating with participants, families, support coordinators, educators, and healthcare professionals
- Monitoring participant progress and reviewing intervention plans as required
About You
- Experience supporting people with disability
- Inclusive & Equal: You value respect, equality, and inclusion of all.
- Excellent communication and report writing skills.
- Confidence using digital systems and clinical documentation.
- A cooperative, proactive and participant-centred approach.
- Current AHPRA registration
- NDIS Worker Screening & NDIS Module Certificates (or willing to obtain)
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable insured vehicle
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Working With Children Check
Highly Regarded:
- Experience prescribing Assistive Technology and completing Functional Capacity Assessments.
- Experience with home modifications.
- HLTHPS006 or HLTHPS007 medication qualification.
