The Functional Analyst role focuses on supporting technology projects. This contract position has been created due to increased workload across Payroll, Workplace Relations, and Enterprise Bargaining Agreement (EBA) activities.

Client Details

This organisation operates within the Public Sector and is based in East Melbourne. The team is managing significant demand, including upcoming EBAs, and requires additional capability to support payroll operations, technical analysis, and issue resolution.

Description

- SAP Payroll functional analysis and technical business analysis

- Payroll issue investigation, debugging, and problem-solving

- Requirement gathering and documentation

- Liaison between business stakeholders and offshore configuration teams

- Support payroll-related system enhancements and change requests

- Assist with payroll configuration where required

- Create and maintain payroll-related rules and schedules

- Support EBA implementation activities





Profile A Successful Functional Analyst Should Have

- Solid SAP ECC6 Payroll experience (non-negotiable)

- Experience with payroll rules, work schedules, and payroll setup, EBA and Modern Awards

- Technical troubleshooting and debugging capability

- Strong analytical problem solving stakeholder engagement skills

- Must have hands-on SAP Payroll configuration experience

- Comfortable discussing and reviewing configuration with offshore teams

- SuccessFactors exposure is advantageous but not essential

Job Offer

- 3 months contract with a possibility of extension
