About the Venue:

Set in the heart of Sydney’s Inner West, Southern Cross Hotel is a multi-level pub in St Peters offering multiple bars, a vibrant bistro, beer garden, TAB and bottle shop facilities, and flexible function spaces. With a strong local following and a busy gaming operation, Southern Cross Hotel is a fast-paced venue where great service and professionalism matter.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Gaming Attendant to join the team at Southern Cross Hotel. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for consistent shifts in a busy Inner West venue.

You’ll be responsible for providing qualified service to our gaming patrons, confidently working independently across the gaming floor and assisting with closing procedures. You’ll also be expected to maintain high standards of responsible gaming, compliance and presentation throughout each shift.

Monday and Tuesday availability is essential, with shifts running from 6:00pm to 3:15am. Additional shifts may occasionally become available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate and monitor gaming machines
- Provide friendly and professional service to gaming patrons
- Complete end-of-night procedures and reconciliation
- Maintain a clean, safe and well-presented gaming area
- Follow responsible gaming and venue compliance requirements
- Work confidently and independently during late-night shifts
- Assist with venue close as required

About You:

- Have at least 1 year of gaming experience
- Hold current RSA, RCG and ARCG qualifications (essential)




- Be available to work Monday and Tuesday nights, 6:00pm - 3:15am (essential)
- Be comfortable working independently during late-night shifts
- Have strong communication and customer service skills
- Be reliable, punctual and professional
