About the Role

Provide strategic leadership, governance, and rigorous analytical oversight over Vuly Play's operational footprint globally. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), you'll lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of Regional Operations Managers (ROMs) driving local execution across inventory planning, 3PL warehousing, fulfilment, freight, installation, systems, and customer experience. This is a hands-on, executive-level role that combines elite diagnostic capability with strategic oversight - surgically dissecting complex operational failures, isolating systemic root causes, and implementing practical, lasting solutions across our global regions.

Core Accountabilities

- Lead, coach, and hold accountable a global team of Regional Operations Managers (ROMs) driving local execution across inventory planning, 3PL warehousing, fulfillment, freight, installation, systems, and customer experience

- Perform deep-dive, forensic diagnosis of persistent operational bottlenecks — from 3PL pick-and-pack workflows to last-mile freight routing and inventory reconciliation — and translate findings into permanent SOPs

- Guide regions through Crawl (launch), Walk (margin protection & growth), and Run (aggressive scale) phases, including WMS/ERP integration, 3PL SLA audits, and freight network optimisation

- Identify, evaluate, and establish operational foundations for new international markets, including current 3PL networks and freight corridors

- Protect global margins by auditing freight bills, carrier charges, and 3PL storage fees, and lead high-stakes negotiations for 3PL, freight, and carrier contracts





- Enforce invoice approval and budget variance sign-off frameworks across regions

- Trace customer delivery complaints back to root operational failures and direct systemic fixes across warehouse and freight vendor networks

- Partner with R&D;, Quality Control, Demand Planning, and Marketing to align packaging, freight cubing, and inventory levels with product and promotional plans

- Act as the final internal escalation point for severe operational disruptions, presenting root-cause analysis and strategic options to the COO/CEO

Key Experience

- 8–10 years of progressive operational leadership, with hands-on experience managing complex multi-site warehousing, fulfillment networks, and multi-modal global freight (ocean, air, line-haul, last-mile)

- Proven track record of entering underperforming operational environments, rapidly diagnosing root causes, and deploying high-impact solutions

- Deep familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Freight Management Systems (FMS), and inventory management platforms

- Extensive experience negotiating 3PL and carrier contracts, setting SLAs, and auditing vendor performance

- Strong financial and analytical acumen - experience managing operational P&Ls;, unit-economics analysis, and forensic freight billing audits
