We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Educator to join our team at our exceeding Benowa Early Learning Centre.

Benowa Early Learning Centre is a leading provider of high-quality childcare and early education services in the Southport/Benowa area. Established over 30 years ago, we pride ourselves on creating a safe, warm, nurturing and inclusive environment where children can thrive. Our Centre is purpose-built with spacious, natural-light filled indoor and outdoor play spaces to facilitate learning through play.

What you'll be doing:

1. Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs tailored to the needs and interests of children aged 0-5 years

2. Follow and implement the Child Safe Standards and have a comprehensive understanding of the new Child Safe laws.

3. Actively participate in the care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and nurturing their social, emotional, physical and cognitive development

4. Collaborate with the lead Educators to assess children's progress and identify areas for further support or extension

5. Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with national quality standards

6. Contribute to the overall positive and inclusive culture of the Centre





What we're looking for:

1. Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent) and/OR Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care

2. Proven experience as an Assistant Educator or similar role in a childcare setting

3. Strong understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate pedagogies

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, families and the broader team

5. A genuine passion for supporting the wellbeing and learning of young children

6. Current Blue card, First Aid and CPR certification, and Child Safe Training
