What you'll be doing

As our Payroll Officer, you'll play a vital role in delivering accurate and compliant payroll services across our diverse national workforce.

You’ll be responsible for:

- End-to-end payroll processing across multiple awards, EBAs and employment arrangements
- Processing new starters, terminations, leave, overtime, allowances, back pays and payroll adjustments
- Reconciling payrolls and resolving discrepancies
- Maintaining employee payroll records and entitlements
- Processing superannuation, salary packaging and statutory payroll obligations
- Responding to payroll enquiries from employees and managers
- Preparing payroll reports and supporting internal and external audits
- Working closely with HR and Finance to ensure payroll compliance and accuracy
- Identifying opportunities to improve payroll systems, processes and reporting

About you

You’ll be an experienced payroll professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has a genuine commitment to providing excellent internal customer service.

You’ll bring

- Experience processing end-to-end payroll




- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, Awards, EBAs, taxation and superannuation
- Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Experience using payroll and financial systems (Workforce Oneexperience highly regarded)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and computer skills
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A passion for continuous improvement and finding better ways of working

A Certificate in Business Administration, Payroll Administration or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) is desirable.

A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one) will be required.
