We are looking for anexperienced and passionate Senior Grants Officer to lead and strengthen ourcommunity grants programs and support initiatives that make a real differenceacross Latrobe City.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely withcommunity groups, local organisations, funding bodies and Council teams to helpdeliver meaningful projects that support community wellbeing and participation.
About the Role
As the Senior Grants Officer, you will lead theadministration and continuous improvement of Council's community grantsprograms, ensuring funding opportunities are accessible, transparent andaligned with community needs and Council priorities.
Working as part of the Social Policy & Inclusion team,you will:
- Managethe full lifecycle of community grant programs, from planning andapplication processes through to funding agreements, reporting andacquittals.
- Provideguidance and support to community groups seeking funding opportunities.
- Facilitategrant information sessions and capacity-building activities for communitygroups.
- Monitorfunded projects and ensure compliance with funding agreements andgovernance requirements.
- Preparereports, analyse program data and identify opportunities for continuousimprovement.
- Superviseand support the Grants Administration Officer and other project resourcesas required.
About You
You are a highly organised and community-focusedprofessional who enjoys building relationships and supporting positive outcomesfor local communities.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
You will need:
- Degree or Diploma in community engagement,community development or other relevant field with some relevant experience orlesser qualification with substantial relevant experience in community grantsprograms or other relevant sector.
- Substantial experience in supporting communitygroups and community members and managing collaborative projects.
- Substantial experience in the management andadministration of grant and sponsorship programs and the use of relevantcomputer programs.
- A current Victorian Driver's license.
Successful applicants will be required to apply for andsatisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children'sCheck.
