About the role

As a Leading Hand Electrician, you'll lead a small team across a range of commercial construction projects throughout Perth, while remaining hands-on with installation works.

Your responsibilities will include:





- leading and coordinating 1-2 apprentices

- commercial electrical installations (incl. cabling, switchboards and lighting)

- reviewing drawings, specifications, and requirements

- planning daily work activities, materials, and labour

- monitoring workmanship, productivity, and safety

- testing, commissioning, and quality documentation

- identifying and escalating installation issues

- coordinating with other trades and supporting project delivery.

What we're looking for

- Full Australian working rights essential

- Current WA Electrical Workers Licence essential

- Current Australian driver's licence essential

- Demonstrated commercial construction experience

- Experience leading apprentices or small installation teams

- Strong knowledge of AS/NZS 3000 and commercial installation practices

- Ability to read/interpret electrical drawings and specifications

- Confident using technology, software, and iPad-based systems

- Education/retail/industrial/multi-level commercial project experience highly regarded

- Familiarity with Simpro and Autodesk Forma advantageous.
