Roles to meet your needs – Permanent Part Time (min 3 days) up to Full Time Simpson Health Centre

Located at Yallambie, approximately 40 minutes north-east of Melbourne CBD. It is predominantly a Forces Command training base, supporting the Defence Force School of Signals (tri-service technicians and operators), Defence Force School of Music (tri-service musicians), and the Army Education Centre. The Army base services approximately 6,000 Defence members and operates a 9 bed low dependency ward 24/7.

The health centre provides primary medical, nursing, physiotherapy, dental and mental health services. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday to Friday. Weekday & weekend on-call shifts equally shared.

What you’ll do Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence members





Occupational Medicine workplace, conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care, in addition to injury management, chronic disease management and preventative health

Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount What you bring Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General Practitioner

FRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational Registration

Minimum 2 years’ GP experience in the last 5 years in a GP Setting (GPT counts)

Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) - within last 12 months

Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)
