Role Description This full-time, remote Graduate / Junior / Data Analyst role focuses on supporting STRILAB | WAR LAB’s capability development initiatives through data-driven insights. Day-to-day responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and organizing operational and experimental data from brigade activities and field tests. The analyst will perform quantitative analyses, build reports and dashboards, and assist in modeling scenarios that inform technology choices, SOP development, methods, and tactics.

The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary military and technical teams, translating analytical findings into transparent, actionable recommendations, and documenting results for prototyping and implementation cycles. The position is designed for early-career analysts seeking hands-on experience with complex, real-world data in a mission-oriented setting.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Analytical Skills and solid Data Analytics capabilities for interpreting complex operational and experimental data.





Candidates should possess Statistics and Data Modeling skills to support quantitative assessments, scenario modeling, and evidence-based recommendations.

Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders and contribute to collaborative decision-making.

Relevant skills such as proficiency in common analytics tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python or R), experience with data visualization, and familiarity with dashboarding tools are beneficial.

A background in data science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related quantitative field is advantageous; prior exposure to defense, operations research, or complex systems analysis is a plus but not required.

Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, maintain confidentiality, and adapt to evolving project requirements is expected.
