We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and data-driven Graduate Data Analyst / Junior Data Analyst / Data Analyst to join our analytics team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for transforming raw business data into actionable insights, creating automated dashboards, and delivering structured reports to support strategic decision-making across departments. You will work closely with Data Engineers, Product Managers, Operations Teams, and Executive Stakeholders to understand business requirements, build reliable data pipelines, and identify operational trends or efficiency gains.

Responsibilities include writing database queries, cleaning and validating datasets, designing clear visual dashboards, performing ad-hoc exploratory analysis, and presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiences. Success in this position requires strong quantitative reasoning, proficiency with relational databases and data visualization tools, effective communication skills, and a genuine passion for solving complex business problems through data.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

SQL Proficiency & Database Management: Strong hands-on experience writing clean, optimized SQL queries (joins, aggregations, CTEs, subqueries, and window functions) across relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, BigQuery, or Snowflake).

Data Visualization & BI Tools:



Practical proficiency in building interactive, user-friendly dashboards using Business Intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or Qlik Sense).

Data Cleaning & Wrangling: Proven ability to identify data anomalies, clean unstructured or messy datasets, validate data integrity, and establish repeatable data-cleansing procedures.

Spreadsheet Modeling & Analytics: Advanced command of Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets (XLOOKUP, Index/Match, Pivot Tables, Power Query, dynamic arrays, and statistical functions) for rapid data prototyping and auditing.

Statistical Analysis & Programming (Python/R): Practical exposure or foundational knowledge of Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn) or R for statistical analysis, exploratory data analysis (EDA), and basic scripting.

Business Acumen & Requirements Gathering: Capability to translate high-level business questions into technical analytical requirements and define actionable Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Data Storytelling & Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to explain complex statistical trends, present data insights clearly, and tailor communications for non-technical stakeholders.

Documentation & Data Governance: High attention to detail in documenting data dictionaries, report logic, metric definitions, and keeping internal reporting repositories well-organized.

Qualified Attributes: Curiosity to explore underlying data patterns, strong critical-thinking skills, adaptability to fast-paced environments, and a commitment to continuous learning.
