KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES The Graduate Electrical Engineer coordinates efforts to optimise network performance and reliability, contributing to the overall success of infrastructure projects.

Conduct detailed studies and analysis of the existing 22kV network and the proposed 240/415V network for the purpose of overhead telecommunications fibre design or other installations.

Identify potential issues or constraints and propose solutions to optimise network performance





Develop comprehensive design plans for the transition from 22kV to 240/415V network and telecommunications infrastructure, including layout drawings, equipment specifications, and technical documentation

Ensure compliance with relevant standards, codes, and safety regulations in all aspects of the network design

Coordinate and communicate effectively with electrical authorities, local councils, clients, and internal engineering teams

Obtain necessary approvals, permits, and clearances for the network design and construction

Address concerns, provide technical explanations, and ensure alignment with project objectives and stakeholder expectations

Assist with any ad hoc duties as required SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

MANDATORY HARD SKILLS A bachelor’s degree in electrical/electronic engineering

Knowledge and skills in the use of the required computer systems and applications

Current police clearance (or willingness to obtain one)

SOFT SKILLS

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

High level of attention to detail and ability to work proactively
