Horizon Allied Health Occupational Therapy has been established for over a decade. We are a team of experienced occupational therapists working across paediatrics and mental health, led by a clinical director with over 25 years of clinical experience and with a strong focus on mentoring and quality practice.

We are a stable team of occupational therapists, with many of our OTs having been with the company for several years. About the Opportunity:

Finishing your OT degree this October 2026? Join our team on a flexible casual basis as soon as your AHPRA registration is finalised.

We are looking for enthusiastic graduates to support our team with leave coverage over the peak summer holiday period (November 2026 to January 2027). This is the ultimate flexible transition into your professional career. You can work when you want, enjoy your own summer break, and gain hands-on clinical experience with full clinical support.

We know you want to hit the ground running once you qualify, but we also know you want to enjoy a well-deserved summer holiday after a grueling final year.



Our casual holiday intake is designed to offer a varied caseload that fits around what works for you.

A Wide-ranging Caseload is Available.

We know that variety is the best way for a new graduate to discover their true clinical passions. To ensure a smooth transition from university to practice, your caseload will be tailored to your availability and backed by dedicated 1-on-1 supervision from our senior Paediatric OT clinicians and or Senior Mental Health Occupational Therapists.

What Your Caseload Could Include:

- Paediatric Intervention: Support children of all developmental stages to build everyday functional skills through fun, play-led therapy.
- Psychosocial Mental Health: Supporting youth and adults to work toward their goals.

Remuneration & Hours:

- Attractive Rates: Paid in accordance with the Health Professionals and Support Services Award, plus a 25% casual loading and superannuation.
- Hours: Reliable rostering with a minimum of 3 hours per shift.
