Bio-E Australia is an Australian health and beauty supplement brand specialising in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of premium enzyme products, health supplements, and skincare products for both Australian and international markets.
At Bio-E, we are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and capable Junior Accounts Officer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their accounting and administrative skills in a supportive and cooperative environment while contributing to the day-to-day operations of a growing business.
Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks that include some of the following:
Perform daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Assist with raising purchase orders with suppliers and sales orders for customers
Provide ad hoc administrative support to the team and manager
Assist with stock management, including performing monthly stock rotations
Assist with tax-related duties, including preparing documentation for BAS, FBT, payroll tax, and income tax
Assist with the annual financial audit by coordinating with external auditors
Assist with the management of cash flows
Maintain and file documents Desired Skills & Experience
Mandarin speaker with adequate capability in verbal and written English
Must be studying or have obtained a bachelor’s in accounting/finance or similar. Prior experience in bookkeeping is highly regarded.
Exposure to Xero or other accounting software would be advantageous.
Experience in an export sales role is a plus
Experience in an Administrative role is a plus
Intermediate MS Office skills
Must have strong communication skills, an excellent work ethic, and can work both independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
