Opal Therapy is looking for a Graduate Occupational Therapist to join our growing team!

This position is ideal for a new graduate or early-career Occupational Therapist who wants to build confidence across paediatrics, disability and community-based practice while receiving regular supervision, practical support and opportunities to learn.

You will work with children, adolescents and adults in the places where they spend their day-to-day lives. Opal Therapy also provides services to communities across the Wheatbelt and Kimberley regions. As you develop your skills and confidence, there may be opportunities to participate in rural and remote outreach alongside experienced clinicians.

About you

We are looking for a graduate or early-career OT who is warm, organised, curious, willing to learn and genuinely interested in helping people participate in their everyday lives. You do not need to know everything when you start. We are looking for someone who communicates well, is receptive to feedback and is comfortable asking for support when something is outside their comfort zone.

The ideal candidate will have:

- Current or eligible AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- An interest in paediatrics, disability, NDIS and/or community-based OT.
- A willingness to work across homes, schools and community settings.
- A willingness to develop clinical documentation and report-writing skills.
- Strong organisation and time-management skills.
- A willingness to learn, reflect and participate actively in supervision.
- Current C Class Driver's Licence and access to a suitable vehicle.
- Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain one.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and relevant police clearance, or willingness to obtain these.

Your caseload will develop alongside your experience, and you will have access to systems, templates, clinical resources and support to help you manage the transition from university into professional practice.

We are also building a service where therapists have the time and flexibility to complete meaningful therapy properly rather than working within unrealistic, high-volume KPI expectations.
