About the role

Leah's Wax Works is seeking a Qualified Beauty Therapist to join our team in Broadbeach, QLD. This is a full-time position offering an immediate start for a talented and passionate professional ready to deliver exceptional beauty services to our valued clients. As a Beauty Therapist, you will be at the heart of our business, providing high-quality waxing, skincare and beauty treatments in a welcoming and professional workplace. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and ensuring every client leaves our salon feeling confident and rejuvenated.

Key responsibilities

- Provide professional waxing services including full-body, facial and speciality treatments to clients

- Deliver skincare consultations and recommend appropriate treatments based on individual client needs

- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with industry regulations and salon protocols

- Create a warm, welcoming and professional atmosphere for all clients during their visit

- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat bookings and loyalty

- Prepare treatment areas and ensure all equipment and products are properly sanitised and stocked

- Manage client bookings and maintain accurate treatment records

- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in beauty therapy

- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

- Current qualification in Beauty Therapy from a recognised training provider

- Valid Australian Beauty Therapy certification or equivalent

- Proven experience as a Beauty Therapist in a salon or spa environment

- Strong knowledge of waxing techniques and skincare treatments

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients

- Threading experience (not essential, but highly regarded)

- Laser experience (not essential, but highly regarded)





- Attention to detail and meticulous approach to hygiene and sanitation

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently

- Time management skills with the ability to manage multiple client appointments

- A genuine passion for beauty therapy and client satisfaction

- Flexibility to work during salon hours, including weekends if required
