About the Role:

At Peters we are passionate about making quality products. We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Quality Technologist to join on a max term contract for a period of 12 months. You will be working as part of the results-oriented QA team that ensures Peters produce high quality and protected products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain site specific sensory requirements;
- Completing laboratory analyses including chemical and microbiological testing;
- Maintenance of quality systems as part of the new product development process;




- Maintain ongoing verification of in line test methods;
- Working with key stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure compliance with standards;
- Contributing to the site Food Safety and Quality System, supporting site internal, external and GMP audits;
- Supporting other quality activities as required.

About You:

- Tertiary degree qualification in Food Science, microbiology, biochemistry or related discipline;
- Preferred 1-2 years experience in a similar role within a FMCG;
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing environmentand respond quickly and effectively;
- Strong computer literacy skillsand an appetite to learn new systems;
- Willingness to demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm;
- Self-driven, results-orientated with a positive outlook and a focus on quality; and strong organisational skills.
