We are seeking a motivated and reliable Grounds and Maintenance Officer to join our close-knit team. This is an opportunity to take pride in maintaining beautifully presented grounds and facilities while building positive relationships with residents and colleagues alike.
About the Role
As a Grounds and Maintenance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring our Estate remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained. Working as part of a dedicated team of three, you will contribute to the presentation and upkeep of the community, helping create an environment that residents are proud to call home.
This hands-on role offers variety, autonomy, and the satisfaction of seeing the direct results of your work each day.

Key Responsibilities
- Lawn mowing, edging, line trimming, and general lawn care.
- Pruning, hedging, mulching, planting, and garden maintenance.
- Weed control and seasonal garden improvements.
- Installation, operation, and maintenance of irrigation systems.
- Routine preventative maintenance of buildings, facilities, and equipment.
- Undertaking minor repairs and general maintenance tasks across the Estate.
- Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a secure and orderly condition.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests and ensuring a high standard of presentation throughout the community.
Skills and Experience To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Experience in groundskeeping, gardening, landscaping, or horticulture.
- Knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, and gardening equipment.
- Experience undertaking general building or property maintenance tasks.
- The ability to identify maintenance issues and implement practical solutions.
- Positive communication skills and a customer focused approach.
- The ability to work safely, both independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications and Licences
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver's Licence.
- National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)

- Permanent full-time position (38 hours per week).
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm.

Conditions of Employment
