We're seeking a passionate, Greek-speaking Support Worker to join our team and connect with clients in their own language and culture.

The Role & Classification:
Santi Support Services is expanding! We are seeking Greek-speaking Support Workers and Home Care Employees for multiple locations on a casual basis, to support clients who speak Greek as their first or preferred language. We value reliability, empathy, cultural understanding, and a strong work ethic.

Successful candidates will be employed under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry (SCHADS) Award.

We are currently looking for:

Locations: Viewbank (SIL)

- Kilsyth (SIL)
- Port Melbourne (SIL)
- Mornington (SIL)
- Clyde and Clyde North (SIL)
- Cranbourne (SIL)
- Mentone (Private residence)
- Pakenham (Private residence)
- Tullamarine (Private residence)

Responsibilities:

- Direct Support: Assist clients with basic daily living activities as directed by senior staff or individual support plans, communicating in Greek where required
- Community Participation: Accompany clients on pre-planned community outings
- Safety & Compliance: Follow established Health and Safety protocols and report any immediate risks or incidents to the supervisor
- Career development: Mandatory attendance at all scheduled training sessions,



including online compliance modules and in-person skill workshops, BSP workshops, and annual compliance refreshers
- Maintenance of Environment: Perform basic domestic tasks (cleaning, laundry, meal preparation assistance, or tidying) to maintain a safe and hygienic space for clients
- PCA: Home Care Employees will be required to deliver high-quality personal care to clients

About You:

- You are fluent in both Greek and English (spoken, and ideally written)
- You take pride in your work and are committed to providing the same high standard of care and service you'd want for your own family
- You are naturally empathetic and bring a "can-do" attitude to every shift
- You are an active listener who deeply respects the boundaries, choices, and autonomy of the individuals you support
- You are solutions-focused and enjoy finding creative ways to help clients achieve their personal goals and outcomes
- You have a "team-first" mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and support your colleagues
- You are systems-savvy and feel comfortable navigating technology while strictly following essential policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Fluency in Greek and English
- First Aid or CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Police Check
- Valid car registration and fully comprehensive insurance
