We are seeking an experienced and driven Investment Operations Analyst to join a growing financial services organisation.

This opportunity is well suited to someone who enjoys combining operational excellence with technology, automation, and continuous improvement. You'll develop a deep understanding of the organisation's operating model while contributing to key projects, process enhancements, and strategic initiatives that support future growth.

Working closely with stakeholders across Product, Technology, Compliance, Risk, and Investments, you'll play a key role in delivering scalable operational solutions and supporting the rollout of new products and capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop expertise across the full operational lifecycle, including trade monitoring, reconciliations, cash management, asset transfers, custody oversight, and AML processes.
- Ensure daily operational activities are completed accurately and efficiently.
- Assist in the investigation and resolution of operational incidents and exceptions.
- Support the ongoing strength and resilience of operational processes as customer and transaction volumes grow.
- Monitor operational controls and identify opportunities to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
- Lead and contribute to process improvement initiatives that enhance scalability and operational effectiveness.
- Design and implement workflows that minimise manual effort through automation and smarter operational practices.
- Support the adoption of AI, automation tools, and technology solutions across the operations function.




- Identify opportunities to improve both customer outcomes and internal processes through innovation.
- Support the operational delivery of new products, platform enhancements, and strategic business initiatives.
- Translate business and product requirements into practical and scalable operational processes.
- Partner with stakeholders across multiple teams to ensure operational considerations are incorporated into project design and delivery.
- Assist with future business initiatives, including new investment products and expanded service offerings.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Represent the Operations team in project discussions and cross-functional initiatives where required.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members and contribute to capability development across the wider team.

About You

- 3-6 years' experience within investment operations, platform operations, wealth management, custody, or broader financial services.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven experience driving process improvements and operational change.
- A strong interest in technology, automation, and AI.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or similar data and automation tools will be highly regarded.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- The ability to influence outcomes and collaborate effectively across teams.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
- A genuine passion for continuous improvement and innovation.
