Housekeeper – Residential Home

About the Role

We are a busy family of five looking for an experienced, reliable and proactive Housekeeper to help keep our home clean, tidy and organised.

With a busy family schedule, we are looking for someone who can take ownership of the day-to-day household chores and keep everything running smoothly. This is more than simply cleaning — we need someone who takes pride in maintaining an organised, well-kept home and can work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include

- General cleaning and upkeep of the home
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and general tidying
- Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms and other living areas
- Managing household laundry, including washing, drying, folding and putting clothes away
- Keeping the house neat, tidy and organised on a daily basis
- Organising and maintaining pantries, cupboards and household storage
- Noticing when things need attention and taking care of them without being asked
- Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout the home
- Helping keep household routines organised and under control

About You

We are looking for someone who:





- Has previous experience working as a housekeeper or in a similar household role
- Is reliable, trustworthy and takes pride in their work
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is highly organised and naturally tidy
- Can work independently with minimal supervision
- Is proactive and able to identify what needs to be done without being asked
- Has good time-management skills and can prioritise tasks effectively
- Takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming home
- Is looking for a long-term position and can commit to regular Monday–Friday hours

Hours & Availability The position is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

The preferred schedule is approximately 9:00am to 1:00pm, however we can be adaptable with start and finish times for the right person.

Immediate start available.
