About the role

Doncal Transport, a leading provider of road transport services is seeking experienced HR + HC Drivers to join their team in Brisbane, QLD (Hemmant QLD based) on a casual basis working to a full-time position. As a HR + HC Driver, you will play a crucial role in the company's operations, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods across the region.

What you'll be doing

- Safely operating rigid trucks, to transport goods to various destinations

- Adhering to all relevant road transport regulations and company policies to ensure the safety of yourself, your vehicle, and your cargo

- Maintaining accurate records of your driving activities, including logbooks and vehicle inspection reports

- Providing excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner

- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles as required

- Participating in regular vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure the safety and roadworthiness of the fleet

What we're looking for

- A valid HR or HC driver's license with a clean driving record

- Extensive experience in the operation of Heavy Rigid Trucks





- Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and a commitment to protected driving practices

- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work, with the ability to respond to changing priorities and demands

- Capable of not smoking in the Truck and work place
