About the role

Our continued growth at Advantage Psychology Group has seen new positions open up for a Registered/Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the vibrant suburb of St Marys, NSW. As a key member of our growing practices, you will provide comprehensive psychological assessment, counselling, and treatment services to a broad range of clients as part of our friendly onsite team of ~10.

What you'll be doing

- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide evidence-based interventions. Advantage Psychology sees a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, and adults, from a range of referral pathways, allowing the preferred candidate the option to be a generalist, or to be narrow and deep in their preferred presentation mix.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans to address clients' mental health needs
- Provide high-quality, compassionate therapy and counselling services, such as CBT, ACT, SCHEMA, EMDR, and other evidence-based approaches
- Collaborate with allied health professionals, such as general practitioners, to ensure a holistic approach to client care
- Contribute to the growth and development of the practice by participating in team social and training events, and professional development activities
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, as well as adhere to all relevant professional and ethical standards

What we're looking for

- Fully registered or clinical psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A strong background in providing evidence-based psychological services
- Demonstrated expertise in a range of psychological assessment and therapeutic modalities, including CBT, ACT, and other evidence-based approaches
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the practice
