About the role

Provide expert clinical trauma case management, consultation, and leadership to strengthen connections across the Major Trauma Service network





Lead and manage an integrated performance monitoring and improvement program to drive clinical excellence and optimal patient outcomes

Conduct and integrate specialty-related research to enhance clinical trauma care practices

Contribute to the design, development, & delivery of education programs for healthcare staff

Participate in strategic and operational planning to shape the future direction of the clinical service

Ensures trauma service compliance with current NSW trauma minimum dataset requirements

About you

Division 1 Registered Nurse registration with AHPRA, backed by a minimum of 5 years postgraduate experience and relevant tertiary qualifications (or working towards them)

Abe to integrate theoretical knowledge, clinical skills, & critical thinking into daily practice

Able to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team

High-level communication & interpersonal skills to engage effectively across all levels of the service

Great time management skills and ability to prioritise workload in a complex environment
