About the Role

We are partnering with our client seeking an experienced and motivated Internal Sales Representative to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in the building materials or manufacturing industry who enjoys building relationships, providing solutions, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Working closely with builders, contractors, fabricators, and trade customers, you will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, and supporting business growth through proactive sales activities.

Please note: Experience within the building materials or manufacturing industry is a mandatory requirement. Applications without relevant industry experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer enquiries via phone, email, and online channels.
- Prepare accurate quotes and follow up sales opportunities.
- Process customer orders and coordinate deliveries.
- Provide product advice and technical support.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
- Liaise with production, logistics, and external sales teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM and customer records.
- Contribute to achieving branch sales targets and objectives.

About You

Essential Requirements





- Previous Internal Sales or customer service experience.
- Proven experience within the building materials or manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of steel products, roofing, cladding, structural products, fencing, or related building materials.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using ERP, CRM, or sales management systems.

Desirable

- Experience working with builders, contractors, fabricators, or trade customers.
- Estimating and quotation experience.
- Understanding of the construction and manufacturing sectors.
