At a glance
As a Control Room Operator based at our customer site in Moorebank, Western Sydney, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of a highly automated distribution centre. As part of our newly established Control Room team, you will be the key communication link between Toyota Automated Logistics and the customer, helping to maximise system performance, coordinate issue resolution, and support operational excellence in a fast‑paced 24/7 environment.
Your Impact
- Act as the primary point of contact in the control room, ensuring clear and professional communication between Toyota Automated Logistics and the customer.
- Monitor automated warehouse systems in real time, identifying and escalating operational or technical issues as required.
- Coordinate with on-site technicians, operations teams, and remote support teams to minimise downtime and restore system performance.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, alarms, system events, and recovery activities using reporting and ticketing systems.
- Provide timely operational updates to stakeholders and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote a strong safety culture by adhering to established procedures and supporting compliance activities.
- Contribute to operational efficiency by identifying trends, supporting issue resolution, and helping improve system reliability.
What makes you a great fit
- Experience in a technical, operational, or control room environment, ideally within automated warehousing, manufacturing, logistics, or a similar industry.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Confidence working with automated systems, monitoring tools, and incident management platforms.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders.
- Qualifications in IT, Engineering, Automation, or a related discipline will be highly regarded.

Roster Requirements
- 24/7 distribution centre workplace on a rotating roster, including:
- Day shifts: 6:00am to 6:00pm
- Night shifts: 6:00pm to 6:00am
