We’re looking for a Kitchen Hand/Cook at our Cooinda Aged Care, where food is more than just a meal, it’s a moment of comfort, connection, and enjoyment for our residents.

Location: Gympie - QLD

Role Type: Casual Remuneration: $35.40 - $38.22 ph(includes 25% casual loading) + Super + Salary Packaging (up to $15,990) + Access to staff discounts & benefits. You’ll be part of a kitchen team, preparing meals for our aged care residents and making sure every plate leaving the kitchen is something you’d be proud to serve.

What Your Day Might Look Like:

- Preparing fresh meals for residents, tailored to dietary needs
- Working with the team to keep service running smoothly
- Making sure the kitchen is clean, secure, and organised
- Helping with menu preparation, stock control and food quality
- Bringing ideas to improve meals and the overall dining experience





This Role Suits Someone Who:

- Has experience working in a commercial kitchen, ideallyinAged Careor large-scale catering.
- Works well in a team but can manage their own tasks
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices and WHS compliance.
- Is organised, calm under pressure and enjoys a busy kitchen environment
- Cert III or Cert IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent (desirable).
- A valid Queensland Driver’s Licence
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
