About the role

Norfolk Pools is seeking a reliable and motivated Construction Labourer to join our small, experienced team.

This is a hands-on role supporting our Construction Manager and Site Supervisor across custom concrete swimming pool projects throughout Brisbane. You will work on a variety of high-quality residential projects, assisting with day-to-day construction activities and helping us maintain the workmanship, presentation and client service for which Norfolk Pools is known.

Key responsibilities

- Assist the Construction Manager and Site Supervisor with general labouring duties.
- Prepare work areas and assist trades and contractors as required.
- Collect, transport, load and unload materials, tools and equipment.
- Clean pool shells and prepare areas for upcoming construction stages.
- Assist with waterproofing walls and other basic construction tasks.
- Maintain clean, tidy and well-presented residential job sites.




- Help ensure sites remain organised and safe throughout construction.
- Follow workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
- Communicate respectfully with clients, team members, tradespeople and suppliers.
- Work independently when completing allocated tasks.

What we’re looking for

- At least one year of construction, trade-assistant or labouring experience.
- A current White Card.
- A current driver’s licence.
- Your own reliable ute, is essential for this position.
- The physical capacity to undertake manual labour and lifting.
- A robust work ethic and willingness to contribute wherever needed.
- The ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good organisation, time management and attention to detail.
- A courteous, respectful and well-presented manner when working at clients’ homes.
