We require a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our project design team, contributing & coordinating design on a major Africa based Gold project that ECG has been driving from study phase.

Key Requirements Have a solid understanding of technical (E, I&C;) principals relating to the large industrial & complex operational assets that our clients own and operate

Relevant Electrical engineering degree or equivalent qualification

Experience co ordinating / driving specialized electrical teams, on front end greenfield and brownfield development projects with complex electrical scope

Experience in designing Gold extraction Cyanide Leaching plant; (a similar extractive process)

LV design experience (LV MCC design, protection & co-ordination studies)

Major project design experience throughout the design cycle





Experience / exposure to project delivery, driving a job, (not necessarily an entire project!)

Understand the project development process for juniors/mid-tier miners

Provide specialized advice and guidance to client The ability to contribute / influence in a meeting; exercises positive judgment on how to contribute, and collaborative behavior The Lead Electrical Engineer will join an established design team, however there may be occasional input on the studies and reports of our Toronto office, as well as the coordination of works from our engineering office in Manila. To be considered for the role of Lead Electrical Engineer you need solid design experience on complex high value electrical projects. ECG Engineering hire for the long term, not for projects, and while this Gold Project has years of work in it, as the plant completes commissioning, you will have the option to move onto a range of ECG’s other ongoing projects in the minerals and metals space.
