About the job

We are looking for a natural connector, someone who is energised by opening a conversation and turning a cold call into a warm relationship. You will proactively generate and qualify recent business opportunities across our range of commercial services, spanning interpreting, training, audiology, video and more, then hand each opportunity to the internal team best placed to bring it home. You stay close enough to help that sale close, without carrying the full weight of the cycle yourself.

Every conversation you have and every deal you help create funds and grows the services our community relies on. This is a rare chance to bring genuine sales energy to work that matters.

This position is part time, four days per week, based at our Collingwood head office, reporting to the Head of Customer Care and Operations.

About you





You are an energetic self starter who thrives on building relationships and opening doors. You are resilient, comfortable with cold outreach and consistent follow up, and just as motivated by purpose as you are by results. You are organised, comfortable owning your own pipeline, and genuinely energised by the idea of making a difference alongside making a sale.

Skills and qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in a lead generation, sales development or business development role
- Confident, resilient communicator, comfortable with cold outreach and follow up
- Proficiency using Salesforce or a comparable CRM to manage pipeline and activity
- Current valid driver licence (EA pool cars available for travel to meetings and events)
- Prior experience or exposure to the Deaf community, Auslan, or the disability and NDIS sector is desirable, training pathways available if not already held
