Learning Adviser

- Deliver academic skills development programs and resources that promote independent learning, student engagement and academic success.
- Collaborate with academic and College staff to identify emerging student needs and learning challenges, ensuring support services remain responsive, effective and accessible.
- Full time is negotiable, Fixed-Term (3 months) position located in Hobart.

About the prospect

The Learning Adviser supports student academic success by delivering a broad range of academic skills development services that foster independent learning. Working within the Student Academic Success area of the Academic Division, the role collaborates closely with academic and College staff to identify student learning trends,



challenges and emerging needs, ensuring services remain relevant and responsive. The position contributes to student transition, engagement, retention and success through the provision of targeted programs, resources and support, including peer learning initiatives as required.

What you’ll do:

- Provide individual consultations to students and timely follow-up of students identified and referred by staff and through Studiosity.
- Contribute to the review, development, and promotion of a range of learning services, resources, and programs to support student learning, including UniStart, the Study Toolkit, Peer Learning Programs, Studiosity, and workshop and webinar offerings.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to support student development of literacy, numeracy, scientific literacy and/or other academic skills within the context of courses
