In this role, you will lead innovative research and deliver world class teaching programs, directly advancing the Department’s academic and qualified objectives through high-quality research, engaging teaching practices, and meaningful contributions to the discipline. We welcome applicants who work in the substantive areas of Ecology or Evolutionary Biology, and those who take interdisciplinary approaches combining Ecology or Evolutionary Biology with, for example, physiology or genetics/genomics.

We are particularly interested in applicants who work with study systems that compliment those already in the School and applicants who undertake field and/or experimental research. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to teaching in the broad area of data science, for example BIO2010 Data Science for Biologists and BIO3100 Advanced Methods in Field Ecology, as well as subjects relevant to their discipline area.
