Our Personal Carer & Engagement Worker (PCEWs) or Lifestyle Assistants are highly interactive supporting our elderly residents, their families and colleagues 7 days a week across AM, PM and Nightshifts.

This role based at Ashmore care home location will see you working closely with the nursing and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. About You

Ideally, you have worked in the Aged Care sector for at least 1 year and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also

- Current First Aid and CPR certification is essential.
- Understanding of person-centred care principles and their application in lifestyle programs with basic knowledge of the emotional, social, and physical needs of older adults.
- Qualifications across Certificate III Individual Support or Leisure and Lifestyle is applicable for this role is desirable.
- Hold (*or willingness to obtain) the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector
