The Role:

Our client is a large government department based in the CBD looking for a Senior Business Technology Platform Owner. Initial contract is for 12 months with potential extensions after August 2027. Join the team to help drive innovation through modern service delivery and using data to make better decisions. You will make take ownership of the enterprise platform ensuring value, security and remain compliant.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

- Own the end-to-end lifecycle of enterprise technology platforms, including strategy, governance, operations, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and maintain platform roadmaps aligned with business priorities and digital transformation initiatives.
- Act as the business owner and subject matter expert for assigned platforms.
- Build robust relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to understand business needs and translate them into technology solutions.
- Monitor platform performance, availability, service levels, and user adoption.
- Prioritise and deliver platform enhancements and new capabilities.

To be successful, you'll bring experience in:

- Managing enterprise technology platforms throughout their lifecycle.
- Developing technology roadmaps and governance frameworks.
- Business analysis, requirements gathering, and solution delivery.
- Risk management, compliance, and cybersecurity principles.
- Change management and driving organisational adoption.
- Stakeholder engagement and executive-level communication.
- Continuous improvement and service management practices.

Experience with one or more enterprise platforms such as SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Enterprise Service Management (ESM), Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, or Oracle Cloud will be highly regarded.
