Care has an opportunity for Full-time Maintenance Supervisor to maintain the interior and exterior of our residence at South Grafton Community Aged Care. A Friendly, Focused And Driven Team, We Look To Bring On Staff With The Right Attitudes And Values To Provide The Best CARE For Our Residents Collaboration Accountability Respect Empathy Our maintenance team is responsible for ensuring all preventative and reactive maintenance task are completed and up to date. This includes hands on work and limiting the need to engage contractors.

This role is Monday to Friday and will be supported by an experienced State Maintenance Manager.

About You

Experience in building maintenance

Knowledge in aged care industry (desirable)

Thorough understanding of all legislative requirements pertaining to maintenance and repairs i.e. OH&S; & Fire/Evacuation





Ability to perform a wide variety of tasks including use of tools and equipment

Willingness to contribute to after-hours maintenance requirements from time to time

Excellent communication skills and respect for residents and colleagues

Previous experience working autonomously

Be able to make decisions about costs and priorities and documenting a full plan for work to be completed

Tech savvy with digital record keeping and communication tools

Robust problem solving and time management skills About The Role You will lead maintenance operations ensuring both preventative and reactive tasks are completed efficiently while minimising contractor use. Supported by our General Manager of Property and Property and Procurement Officer, your work week is Monday to Friday.
