Our CFO Advisory team acts as the complete finance function for growing businesses and listed companies — from daily bookkeeping through to board-level CFO advice, capital raisings and cross-border listings on the ASX and NASDAQ.

The role

This is a lead role in a growing service line. You'll run a portfolio of outsourced CFO engagements end to end — owning the monthly reporting rhythm, the client relationship and the quality of everything that goes out the door. You'll be supported by a Sydney-based senior accountant and an offshore finance operations team, and you'll work directly with the partners on transactions, listings and new business.

What you'll do

Own a portfolio of CFO Advisory clients across mining and resources, technology, hospitality and other sectors, including ASX- and NASDAQ-listed groups

Lead the monthly cycle: management packs, KPI dashboards, board reporting, budgets and forecasts, and 13-week rolling cash flows

Advise clients through transactions — capital raises, M&A;,



listings and restructures — including pro forma financial information and due diligence support

Review the work of the senior accountant and offshore team, and keep the month-end close to a five-business-day standard

Handle technical accounting matters under IFRS and prepare position papers where needed

Attend client board meetings alongside partners, and contribute to proposals and business development

What we're looking for

CA or CPA qualified with roughly 6–10 years' experience in a chartered firm, commercial finance leadership role, or a mix of both

Strong management accounting and financial reporting skills under IFRS; listed-entity exposure (ASX or US markets) highly regarded

Experience reviewing and developing junior staff, including offshore teams

Confident client-facing communicator who can hold a board-level conversation

Comfortable across Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and similar cloud platforms; solid Excel
