Our CFO Advisory team acts as the complete finance function for growing businesses and listed companies — from daily bookkeeping through to board-level CFO advice, capital raisings and cross-border listings on the ASX and NASDAQ.

The role

This is a lead role in a growing service line. You'll run a portfolio of outsourced CFO engagements end to end — owning the monthly reporting rhythm, the client relationship and the quality of everything that goes out the door. You'll be supported by a Sydney-based senior accountant and an offshore finance operations team, and you'll work directly with the partners on transactions, listings and new business.

What you'll do

- Own a portfolio of CFO Advisory clients across mining and resources, technology, hospitality and other sectors, including ASX- and NASDAQ-listed groups
- Lead the monthly cycle: management packs, KPI dashboards, board reporting, budgets and forecasts, and 13-week rolling cash flows
- Advise clients through transactions — capital raises, M&A;,



listings and restructures — including pro forma financial information and due diligence support
- Review the work of the senior accountant and offshore team, and keep the month-end close to a five-business-day standard
- Handle technical accounting matters under IFRS and prepare position papers where needed
- Attend client board meetings alongside partners, and contribute to proposals and business development

What we're looking for

- CA or CPA qualified with roughly 6–10 years' experience in a chartered firm, commercial finance leadership role, or a mix of both
- Solid management accounting and financial reporting skills under IFRS; listed-entity exposure (ASX or US markets) highly regarded
- Experience reviewing and developing junior staff, including offshore teams
- Confident client-facing communicator who can hold a board-level conversation
- Comfortable across Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and similar cloud platforms; strong Excel
